The Toyota Tacoma continues to be the best selling compact pickup truck in the U.S. market. At Peterson Toyota in Boise, we see this trend as the Toyota Tacoma continues to be a top-seller here in the Treasure Valley. For the 2012 model year there are some changes for the Toyota Tacoma.
The major updates are focused around a new front fascia that gives the Tacoma an appearance of having a sturdy, more angular look. There is a more evident upside-down triangle look to the grille that is emulated in the lower bumper and emphasized by new headlamps. There are also new tow hooks that are standard on all models.
If you are looking into the TRD Sport Package buyers will be happy with turn signals integrated into the side mirrors along with chrome five-spoke wheels measuring 18 inches in diameter. On the interior, the 2012 Tacoma gets a revised gauge cluster, center stack and HVAC controls to go along with optional waterproof fabric and all-weather flooring. Toyota’s latest Entune technology and navigation system are also optional on high-end models.
To view these upgrades and changes in person, we would like to invite you to Peterson Toyota to check it out first hand. We will be hosting an event Monday, November 7, 2011 that will highlight the new redesigned Toyota Tacoma. Along with the 2012 Tacoma we will be featuring the 2012 Toyota Camry, the new Prius V and the all-new Toyota Yaris. At our Toyota Reveal Event we will have food, fun and prizes that will be given away. For more details please visit our website or call us at 208.378.9000. We look forward to seeing you!
